JoeLister supports all types of Fixed Price listings, including GTC, 30 Day, and Best Offer (read more about these listing types on eBay here).
By default, JoeLister will create all your listings as GTC. We recommend not to use 30-day listings. The pitfall of using 30-day listings is that your items can not stay up if you have no inventory left. We've seen instances before where Amazon will send an incorrect buggy report (we ask for these reports quite often) which will falsely tell JoeLister that you have 0 of your item in stock, thus causing a 30-day-listing to go down. To prevent this from happening, we recommend you definitely keep your listings as GTC for these several reasons:
- GTC listings don't end after 30 days. So, if you want to keep selling an item for more than 30 days, you don't have to re-insert it yourself.
-
GTC lets you keep the SEO from your listing for a long time. Listings build up SEO over time (if they are frequently visited and purchased), and 30 day listings have to start building that SEO up from scratch every month.
-
GTC listings can be set to have quantity 0. If you briefly have an item out of stock on Amazon, we can temporarily set the quantity to 0, and restore it back when you get that item back in stock. You don't pay insertion fees this way.
If you choose to use our 30 day listing option, the biggest downside is #3. If your item goes out of stock on FBA, we have to delist your item.
