What is a Price Locked Item?
A Price Locked Item is any item whose price has been manually changed outside of the standard pricing formula set in your Settings. This occurs when you manually adjust the price directly within the pop-up listing tool for that item. Once an item is price locked, JoeLister will no longer automatically adjust its price (per your Repricing settings), giving you complete manual control of the item's price.
How to Identify Price Locked Items
JoeLister makes it easy to identify which items are price locked. Follow these steps to locate them:
- Go to your Amazon Inventory tab in your JoeLister dashboard.
- Set the Inventory filter to "Price Locked". This will display only items that are currently price locked.
These items will remain at their manually set price until you take action to release them from the lock.
How to Release a Price Lock
If you'd like to return a price locked item to your original pricing formula, you have two simple options within the pop-up listing tool:
- Click "Unlock" – This will remove the lock and allow the item to be automatically repriced according to your pricing formula.
- Click "Apply" next to the "Price by Formula" option – This action also releases the price lock and immediately applies the formula-driven price.
Once the price lock is released, the item will be subject to the same dynamic pricing rules as the rest of your inventory.
